Granted it makes no sense that the tile and feature strip inserts don't line up wall and floor. Most baffling is the spaced feature strip. It's a lot easier butting those together as well and not having to use two different types and two different colors of grout. It's also a good thing that bench is there, mismatched tile would overwhelm this room.
